Cards, crafts and more cards!

I have been busy making cards.....Birthday, Sympathy, Thinking of you, Get well and of course Christmas cards!  This is the last one I made and I kind of like it.  It is much brighter than this picture shows, but thought I'd share it anyway.  Having loads of fun making cards and received more supplies the other day!  Always an exciting day when that happens.....like a kid in a candy store!

 

 

Witchy Witch!

Just had to share Ms Witchy Witch with you.  She certainly won the hearts of the little people on trick or treat night........with her hat lit up and flashing different colours, she stole the show!  Thanks to my sister for making it!  Not sure if I want to put her away or just let her hang out with me for a while.  Hmm, I will have to think that one over.

 

 

I love Pumpkin!

I love Pumpkin cheesecakes, pumpkin pies and muffins, the colour pumpkin and most of all these adorable wooden pumpkins we made when my sister was here!  The lower pumpkin has a witch beside it and that is part of her hat you see!  Such character they have, don't you agree?

 

Where is Santa?

Has anyone seen Santa?  His Reindeer are hanging out at my place, waiting for Santa and Christmas!  So cute and pretty cheap to feed.

Preparing for Craft show!

 

 

When my sister was here, we were buried in my craft room making things and were running out of space for finished products...hence another 6 foot table on the wall outside the craft room!  One more  month of preparation for our craft show in December!

 

Crafting with my Sister!

Such a fun time crafting with my Sister!  We made so many things, these lanterns that my husband made being part of our crafting frenzy.  I think they are so adorable....we will have one each on our craft table as part of our display for the festive season! 

 

 

Finishing off Amazing Squash

 

Just finished  the amazing Spaghetti Squash leftovers that made it Thanksgiving table this year.  It is so awesome and so easy to make.  I am certain that it will become part of our traditional Thanksgiving meal.  Just glad we made two, so we WOULD have leftovers.  If you like spaghetti squash, green onions, red peppers, cheese and bacon bits, I am sure you will love it!

My Fall display

This is the first time I had Corn stalk that wasn't brown and dried....it's still green! 
When it is time to take down the display to prepare for Christmas decorations, those pumpkins will be made into yummy Pumpkin cheesecakes!! 

 

 

Happy Fall Everyone

I love Fall and all its beautiful colours and could hardly wait to make my first fall card!  Besides Christmas, it could be Fall all year long.....turkey every day! Yay!

 

 

My daughter's Birthday

Today is my darling Daughter's birthday and she and her husband are celebrating it with a two day getaway!  And I am watching my granddog Harley!  We have had a great day with wonderful weather and now I am settling in to make some cards.  I just received my second order of supplies and now I can begin!  Yay! 
Thank you very much Lesley, for your help in getting the colours as they should be.  Left my playbook at work and had to take this with my Blackberry phone, and the colour wasn't true...until my beautiful daughter-in-law came to the rescue.
My sister's birthday was yesterday and my neice's is tomorrow!  We sure have September birthdays cornered!

Today is Crochet day!

Merry Monday Card

 This is my Merry Monday card and the first I have made since I have been back home in Ontario....on my own.  Having such fun and Soooo much to learn.  Need MORE supplies!!!!!!

This is my Merry Monday Christmas Card! I am having so much fun with this and am looking forward to getting into it in greater detail once I arrive back home in Ontario.  My Daughter-in-Law has been a tremendous help to me and has lots of patience for sure.  Thanks so much Lesley!

Thanks for the encouragement

Thanks for all your kind words of encouragement...they certainly help to build my confidence.  I am pretty excited about making my next card.

Today my daughter in law and I went shopping for.....you guessed it....supplies!  And today. I have just become a Stampin'  Up Demonstrator and am very excited!  Thanks Lesley, for your help and patience...you made it easy and lots of fun!  I am going to be Very busy.  Yay!!!

My first attempt at card making.

My first try at making cards and here are my first three!  What do you think!.....will I be hooked?  Does a Hobby Horse have a wooden head?

My daughter-in -law helped me create my first card following along with this sketch.

This is my second card and I really think it turned out cute!  Now on to more, more, and more!

Card number three and this was completely on my own, visualizing how I want it to look.  For the first time trying it on my own, I am pretty proud of it........but I can hardly wait to see the rest as I get better at it.
